Greg Sharp, the principal of Retaja Group, started out as an engineer working on the MIRACL laser for some of President Reagan’s Star Wars programs. This ground based Deuterium Fluoride laser was the most powerful laser in the free world at the time and required a Secret or Top Secret clearance to work with it and related defense programs. His colleagues supported Israeli missile programs such as Arrow and they learned that the primary reason the Israeli programs were more successful, was if they didn’t work, their families could die. He managed his first multimillion dollar program in 1990 to make spare mirrors for the MIRACL laser and this was the foundation for his real estate project management years later. In the meantime he worked in high tech sales where it was more important to solve the problem than convince someone to buy. He worked with a Computer Generated Hologram company as part of the founding team to commercialize defense technologies and as the sole sales person, built the brand awareness and business volume from nothing to millions within a few years.
Moving to California in 1998 after starting a family, he was VP Engineering for an RFIC company before finally transitioning to real estate full time in 2003. His first ventures, where about a dozen condo conversion projects totaling over 200 units. He had some amazing mentors and partners who taught him how to pitch and run projects. He obtained his real estate broker’s license and GC licenses in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and General B as well as various Green construction certifications including LEED AP. He spent time as a HUD Construction Consultant under the 203K program. He obtained his MBA in Leadership online during Covid.
After the Great Recession, he flipped a few houses, taught a house flipping class and started brokering loans for people because he helped them do what they didn’t have time to do well themselves. He continues to support his clients with loans but also participates in leadership training, analysis and modeling, and other services for additional fees, to ensure his clients continue to grow strong.

As Director of Retaja Group, Inc., Sean Sindhu is a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson who specializes in the acquisition, disposition, and exchange of multifamily and commercial real estate and investment properties in various submarkets in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Equipped with his extensive market knowledge, Sean offers real estate owners advisory services, complimentary valuations, and market research reports to help them make decisions for their properties.
Before joining Retaja Group, Inc., Sean worked as an Associate at Lee & Associates and as an Associate at Arbor Realty Capital Advisors where he specialized in investment sales and capital markets. Previously as an independent consultant for multifamily and commercial real estate companies, Sean worked with family trusts, banks, corporations, private owners, and developers.
Sean earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. During his time as student, he completed several internships at boutique and global real estate private equity and investment companies, including StepStone Group, Larrea Partners, and Wilshire Financial Network, where he developed his transactional experience and skillset across property types, investment types, risk profiles, and the capital stack.
As a former owner and manager of Toja Coffee LLC, Sean imported, distributed, and sold civet coffee in 9 grocery stores, 4 farmers markets, 1 cafe, and online across Southern California and various states. Growing up in a real estate family, Sean gained exposure from and has been involved in his family’s institutional commercial real estate investment and development of land, single-family communities, multi-family buildings, retail strip centers, and four-star hotels and resorts. Sean is committed to assisting real estate owners in maximizing the values of their properties.
